How to take care of your mat:

New mats are always slippery but washing and using makes will help the grip. If your hands get sweaty we recommend yoga towel on the mat.

You can wash your mat like other mats with the brush.

You can also wipe the mat with damp cloth.

Washing machine in 60 degrees. No softener, spinning or drum drying. Dry well. You can roll it inside two towels and step on it so excess water gets off the mat.
